|Insights Conference: Bridging the Data Divide

The second annual Insights Conference, "Bridging the Data Divide," will emphasize how the Virginia Longitudinal Data System (VLDS) is bridging the data divide
among citizens, researchers, and policymakers by providing a single point of access for educational and workforce information.
Speakers will include Aneesh Chopra, Virginia's former Secretary of Technology, who also was appointed by President Obama as the nation's first Chief Technology Officer, and Karen Jackson,
the current Secretary of Technology for the Commonwealth.

Member News: CIT's Mach 37
hosts Cyber Showcase
Participants included Harrisonburg based business
The MACH37™ Cyber Accelerator and CIT GAP Funds hosted investors at the June 17th Cyber Showcase.
Invited guests included investors representing top-tier venture capital firms, leading edge technology companies and angel groups from the east coast.
Twelve companies presented, including six later stage companies and six from the MACH37™ Spring Cohort. The MACH37™ Spring Cohort included innovations in several critical areas of security, including encapsulated expertise, zero-trust security
models, Software Defined Networking (SDN) enabled solutions, and lightweight distributed systems. One of the Spring Cohort companies involved was Harrisonburg based
Axon Ghost Sentinel.
